Daffodil Sessions - Logo Gold.png

May 16th to 25th, 2025

Join me in capturing beautiful moments while making a difference. ‘The Daffodil Sessions" are 20-minute outdoor mini sessions, running from May 16th to 25th, 2025, in the beautiful Comox Valley. Each session includes 5 edited digital images, perfect for preserving special memories in a natural, outdoor setting. Sessions are $200, and will be donated to the Canadian Cancer Society. Together, we’re turning photos into a powerful way to give back.

Why The Daffodil Sessions?

Back in 2010, when my mom went through her own experience with cancer, it shifted the way I saw things—life, work, everything. I was just starting out in photography then, and even though I didn’t fully know how to process it all, I felt like I had to do something. Anything. That’s when this fundraiser first took shape. What began as a small idea has since grown into something truly meaningful to me, and every year, I’m reminded why I keep coming back to it.

After taking a break for a few years, I’m now back and ready to continue this important work. Over the years, the fundraiser has evolved, and I’ve refined the process to make it a simple and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.

These 20-minute sessions take place at an outdoor location (click HERE to view locations) and include 5 beautifully edited digital images. They are perfect for couples, children, families, and even you and your horse, your dog, or any other special companion. The sessions are open to anyone who wants to participate, offering a chance to create lasting memories while contributing to a cause that makes a real difference.

While the logistics of the sessions may change slightly from year to year, the heart of this fundraiser remains the same: to use photography as a way to give back. My hope is to continue offering these sessions for as long as possible, allowing more people to join in, make memories, and support the ongoing fight against cancer. Every year brings a new opportunity to contribute to something bigger, and I’m grateful for everyone who chooses to be a part of it.
