May 15th to 24th, 2026
Join me in capturing beautiful moments while making a difference. The Daffodil Sessions are 20-minute outdoor mini sessions, running from May 15th to 24th, 2026, in the Comox Valley.
Each session includes 5 edited digital images, perfect for preserving special memories in a natural, outdoor setting. Sessions are $200, with the session fee (minus processing) donated to the Canadian Cancer Society.
Together, we are turning photos into a meaningful way to give back.
Please note: These sessions do not include headshots, events, or themed/stylised shoots.

Why The Daffodil Sessions?
Back in 2010, when my mom went through her own experience with cancer, it shifted the way I saw things, life, work, everything. I was just starting out in photography then, and even though I didn’t fully know how to process it all, I felt like I had to do something.
Anything.
That’s when this fundraiser first took shape. What started as a small idea has grown into something that means a lot to me, and every year, I’m reminded why I keep coming back to it.
After taking a break for a few years, I came back to this fundraiser last year, and I’m so glad I did. It reminded me how much this matters, not just to me, but to everyone who takes part. Over time, I’ve shaped the sessions into something simple, relaxed, and easy, while still holding onto what makes this so meaningful.
This year, sessions are taking place at Puntledge Park, surrounded by forest paths, river access, and soft natural light. Each session is 20 minutes and includes 5 fully edited digital images.
These sessions are open to anyone, couples, children, families, or even you and your horse, your dog, or any other special companion. It is a chance to create something real and lasting, while also being part of something bigger.
While the details may shift slightly from year to year, the heart of this fundraiser stays the same, using photography as a way to give back. My goal is to keep offering these sessions for as long as I can, creating space for people to take part, make memories, and support the ongoing fight against cancer.
Every year matters, and I’m so grateful for everyone who chooses to be part of it.
